SOMETIMES LIFE’S A B****, BUT YOU KEEP LIVING - PT. I

Some days were harder than others.

Having to face the sun in her wake, felt like unbearable jabs from unsterilized needles. It always was the hardest part of her day, and the most dreaded. The truth is, she didn’t want to wake up. She even prayed to the universe that she doesn’t believe in for it. To stay sleeping when she would lay in her cold bed, fixed forever in places she went when she closed her eyes. Her prayers were never noticed. Maybe she didn’t understand how this world could be so cruel to her.

But this only made her hate experiencing the world around her, even more…

On this day, the feelings trapped in her vessel sunk a couple floors below the surface. This was a morning ritual that had been embedded in her schedule since however long she could remember. To the point it was ingrained in her blood, it was all she knew.
